With the men’s World Cup kicking off in around six months, fans should be getting excited to go watch their national team play in North America next summer.

Fifa has announced a 50% increase in the prize money it will award to participating teams at next year's World Cup in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

Each national association, including the FA, will get approximately eight per cent of the stadium allocation – after sponsors’ seats are excluded – for each game.
