MemorialCare Saddleback Medical Center now offers a technology called navigational bronchoscopy that allows physicians to diagnose abnormal growths (nodule) in the lungs with even more precision than they were able to with previous technology. A navigational bronchoscopy guides pulmonologists through a patient’s airways directly to the target nodule using technology similar to that of a GPS. From there, they can take tissue samples from regions of the lung that were previously unreachable. Watch
